HHO - Adventures in HHO and what I got from it

Hi there - its been a while since I wrote about this subject, not because I was being lazy, but because it was so damn interesting and after running for 2 years the car finally gave up to my efforts to increasingly pushing a 998cc car to its ultimate conclusion... cylinder failure. Ok its not so bad, i just like to tell people that so it sounds absolutely catastrophic when in actual fact all that happened was a piston ring in cylinder 1 totally failed and I just cannot be bothered to test further, this HHO technology works, period.

I just got dismayed at how many 'backyard' 'amatuer' inventors started jumping onboard and claiming their system is 'da BEST!!!!' (feel free to add as many exclamation marks to further prove your point of being the best...  !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <---- See... i win as i've got more than all of you. Haha ok on with the article and no flaming bags of poo at my door plz.

Firstly - If you've taken the time to read this blog/mishmashup of information/self sufficiency website - you'll come to understand an ethos which I hope all patrons of this website share, which is the urge to be self sufficient and also to set out on a path alot less trodden, which means heck sometimes you ARE going to the the numpty who has to take 'the first experiment' out for a spin or even test it out on your pride and joy. I am saying this because there are SO MANY armchair researchers and many more 'basic chemistry' or 'basic physics' guyz/galz who would tell you point in hand that you should never try anything new because (enter long + short excuse here with no backing evidence or material or even any kind of testing to say it wouldnt work/would work)

Basically - I got tired of people who could literally launch a verbal carpet nu-king which would not only leave your initial tripidations on an unknown journey in tatters, but it actually does something to the human spirit/enthusiasm/"the thing which made you want to do 'things' in the first place" - and that is to stay in a place which is known by all and is considered safe as there is no recourse or trouble to encounter if you just walk the paths of life which is considered 'normal'. Oh and the one who says 'it cantz be done' doesnt have to offer up any proof or explanation only that either 'they work in the field' or they default back to basic science... tells you what level or depth they are willing to work towards..... ok that is just snide but it shows you how much opposition you can get from just a simple idea. Sometimes I really do wish I could learn from some of the giants from the 1930's - also people like Tesla, Einstein etc would've got the same reception yet one quote always strikes me with reverance and awe:

Victory has many fathers whilst failure is a bastard orphan.  Actually the real quote is : 'Success has many fathers but failure is an orphan' and this is quite true. Anyway this helps me round off my short explanation of what has been going on with my HHO adventures. I will have to arrange my pictures and show you whats been going on but all in all, its been a very fun and productive journey with alot of truth and wonderful jouneys coming from this one project.
